Knowledge Transfer Partnerships (KTP)

The concept of Knowledge Transfer Partnerships (KTP) has been helping corporates to innovate for growth, expansion, performance and new revenue streams for many decades. Many governments and universities have implemented such KTP programmes and policies.

At INRME, we aim to create, facilitate and disseminate knowledge by being an innovator, a researcher and a facilitating entity to bridge between Knowledge Workers – A high calibre talented INRME members and Organisations – Companies wishing to utilise this human capital for increasing and developing competitiveness, resilience and sustainable competitive advantages through research and innovation.

INRME offers KTPs to find solutions for a specific and strategic innovation and research led business challenge faced by an organisation. This can be either business, management, engineering, science or technology project or a combination of these domains.

There are normally three stakeholders to KTP we offer:

  • A corporate/ Organisation willing to utilise KTP opportunity
  • Associates and members of INRME
  • We at INRME

If a project or business clearly has a need then we can add the fourth stakeholder which could be an additional organisation or company as required; however this will have to be approved at the start of a Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) project.

We normally have members or associates who are experienced and high performing researchers and innovators but occasionally INRME can source the associates needed internationally which is part of INRME’s offer.

A KTP project with INRME can have a duration of 1 week to 5 years (maximum) depending on what is the challenge, the requirements of the business organisation and resources to be deployed.

KTP with INRME offers following advantages in addition to addressing development of core research and innovations.

  • Optimise your resources
